Description:

In atypic lymphocytes the nucleocytoplasmatic ratio is more than normal, vacuolization prevails in the cytoplasm, cytoplasmic pseudopodii can be visible.

Size:

 

Cytoplasm:

The periphery is darker, azurophilic granules are ofen present.

Nucleus:

Chromatin is lumpy.

Nucleoli:

Often visible.
