Urinalysis is believed to be the oldest clinical chemistry test. Over years it has acquired due recognition among laboratory tests. As a test sample, urine has several advantages:  it is easy to collect , urine constituents provide information on many metabolic processes and impairments, the tests used in routine urine examination are simple and relatively inexpensive.

Atlas of Urinary Sediment is a program intended for everybody whose work is related to examination of urinary sediment: specialists in medical biochemistry, medical biochemists, doctors, postgraduates, laboratory technicians, medical biochemistry and medical students, laboratory staff and all those who want to study, solve dilemmas or check their knowledge.

This software makes you familiar with all procedures for preparing and examining of the urinary sediment, characteristics of some urinary elements, their features; it will give you solutions to all your problems (similarities in cells), teach you how to avoid errors in work and many a thing.

This multimedia project Atlas of Urinary Sediment has been made on the basis of up-to-date scientific knowledge and laboratory experience. The Atlas contains a large collection of images (erythrocytes, leukocytes, epithelial cells, casts, microorganisms, crystals, drug crystals, artefacts and cytology), morphologic identification, effects of drugs, diagnostics and a glossary with 252 detailed explanations. Slide show enables viewing all the pictures in appropriate order.
